Si svolgerà sabato 6 dicembre a Velletri, presso la sede AVIS, la “2^ Giornata di prevenzione” contro il carcinoma mammario. L’iniziativa è una delle tantissime che si svolgono sul territorio nazionale a supporto della campagna di prevenzione “Ottobre Rosa” ed è organizzata dall’ A.N.D.O.S. comitato di Velletri, con la Commissione Pari Opportunità, l’AVIS comunale Velletri, con il contributo della Banca Popolare del Lazio.
Dalle 8,30 alle ore 13 e dalle ore 13,30 alle ore 16,30, presso l’AVIS, tutte le donne dai 40 ai 49 anni (al di sotto dell’età ministeriale di screening) effettueranno la mammografia (ne sono state programmate 40, ndr), la prima della loro vita o la successiva dopo oltre un anno dalla precedente, tramite l’Unità Mobile messa a disposizione della Komen Italia dove i medici ed i tecnici operanti, verranno assistiti dalle volontarie dell’A.N.D.O.S. Velletri. Inoltre le donne che aderiranno e che decideranno di effettuare delle donazioni di sangue, il giorno dopo potranno essere sottoposte a 35 esami del sangue, ecg (elettrocardiogramma) e dosaggio ormonale gratuiti sempre presso la sede AVIS.
Visto il numero limitato di posti disponibili la prenotazione è necessaria e dovrà avvenire solo ed esclusivamente tramite il comitato A.N.D.O.S. di Velletri, contattando il numero 329.6185208. Verrà assegnato un orario di prenotazione che potrebbe essere soggetto ad imprevisti e necessità che possono verificarsi, ma che si invita a rispettare poichè i referti si ritireranno direttamente sul posto in giornata e tra la visita ed il ritiro del referto potranno passare da un minimo di un’ora ad un massimo di due ore.
Per tutte le donne che non riusciranno ad aderire al programma, si comunica che A.N.D.O.S. Velletri si sta adoperando per l’organizzazione di ulteriori giornate della prevenzione previste per il nuovo anno grazie alla preziosa collaborazione di personale medico e tecnico che supporterà il comitato, presieduto dalla Presidente Ombretta Colonnelli, nella sua sempre più incisiva attività sul territorio. Accanto all’A.N.D.O.S. di Velletri anche le istituzioni del Comune rappresentate dalla Commissione Pari Opportunità, presieduta dal consigliere comunale Romina Trenta, che fin dall’inizio della sua costituzione è stata accanto alle iniziative del comitato A.N.D.O.S, con forte sostegno e contributi.
